Welcome to Cullen's Page!
My name is Cullen Madden and I am graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently working on my M.Ed in Business Education. I would one day love to have my own marketing and/or business classes. I have a real passion for the marketing and business world that I want to share with future generations.

The organization that really got me to where I am today and sparked my interest in business and marketing is called DECA. I have been involved in DECA for 7 years now. The organization has provided me with experiences, that combined with the classwork, that provided me with personal and professional growth. This organization serves students in high school through their entire collegiate careers.

Outside of school and "work", I am a professional soccer referee. I am constantly traveling around the country refereeing soccer matches. I have been refereeing soccer since I was 12 (HOLY CRAP!!! I just realized that it has now been 11 years!!!). The game of soccer is very big in my family. Once upon a time I used to play a premier level but that was before I shattered my leg and now I stick to refereeing. I would say it is safer but that would be a lie considering the leagues I some times referee.

When I am not in school, working, refereeing, or on the road, I run. I love to run. I started running two years ago and found it to be incredibly relaxing. Whenever I need to clear my head, I simply put the earphones in, turn on some DMB and go! This year has been great as I have already run two marathons (26.2 miles) and done well in both. The first one was a small one run on Patriots Day in Boston. You may of heard of it. It was the Boston Marathon (it was only me and 26,000 other crazies). The second one was the Shires of Vermont Marathon a month later. The VT marathon was my first age group top 10 finish so I was very excited about that.

Other than that, I still live at home with my family. The house is always crowded as both my parents, my two younger brothers (Gavin, 20 & Logan, 17), myself, our two dogs, one cat, and many friends tend to cycle through our doors as if they were revolving. I love my family and they are important to balancing my crazy life.
